About Me
I live in Fishkill, New York in the beautiful and historic Hudson Valley.
I am fortunate to be surrounded by historical sites and graves
of people who made history. The first visitor to our area was Henry Hudson for which the beautiful Hudson Valley and Hudson River is named and we have been making history since! Wonderful tourist sites include West Point, Washington's Headquarters, FDR Estate, Van Wyck Homestead and The Vanderbilt Mansion, just to name a few.
The historical records of Revolutionary War Soldiers and their families as well as the first settlers of the area have all been preserved and are all here waiting to be found.
Since I am a native of New York City as my grandparents arrived in Ellis Island in the very early 20th century, I also travel to New York City to obtain history and important vital records of families. I feel so connected to Brooklyn and, of course, Queens where I was raised!
